Privacy Policy for CleanKit
Last Updated: April 25, 2026
Your privacy is our absolute priority. This Privacy Policy outlines how the CleanKit mobile application (developed by Enoch Igreen) handles your information. The short version: We do not collect, store, or share your personal data. ### 1. Data Collection and Usage CleanKit is designed to operate entirely on-device.
We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII).
We do not use tracking analytics or third-party advertising trackers.
We do not transmit your data, photos, or inputs to any external servers. All unit conversions, image compressions, and QR code parsing happen strictly on your local hardware.
2. Photo Library & Storage Permissions
To use the Image Compressor feature, CleanKit interacts with your device's photo library.
Photo Selection: We use the native system photo picker. CleanKit does not have access to your entire camera roll; it can only access the specific photo you actively select to compress.
Local Processing: Your photos are never uploaded to the cloud. The compression algorithm runs locally on your device.
Saving to Gallery: CleanKit only requests write access to your storage when you explicitly press the "Save" button to export a newly compressed image to your gallery. It does not read or modify your existing files.
3. Camera Permissions
CleanKit requires access to your device's camera exclusively for the QR Scanner feature.
How it is used: The camera is used locally via native machine learning tools to detect and read QR codes in real-time.
No Image Storage: We do not record video, take photographs, or save the camera feed. The camera is only active while you are actively on the scanning screen, and the visual data is immediately discarded the millisecond the code is read.
4. Clipboard Usage
CleanKit requires permission to write to your device's clipboard (for example, when you click "Copy Password" or "Copy Text" from a scanned QR code). CleanKit only writes to your clipboard when you explicitly press a copy button. It never silently reads your existing clipboard history.
5. Changes to This Policy
If we add new features to CleanKit in the future that require different permissions, we will update this policy and request those permissions explicitly within the app.
